The official magazine of Oklahoma State University

State Blog

Last Friday night’s homecoming activities broke the record for students and alumni in attendance, with an estimated 82,000 people at Walkaround.
OSU has launched OStateTV, a video-based web-only network that will showcase our university like never before. There will be live events, profiles, behind the scenes stories, interviews, news and much more. You will even be able to upload your own OSU-centered videos. OStateTV will be the housing place for STATE magazine videos as well. Aside from being embedded on the magazine's website, videos created for STATE magazine will be searchable at OStateTV via keyword, topics channel or the college and campuses channels.
In the spring issue of STATE magazine we asked our readers to help us solve a mystery by telling us what they know about this can: Who buried it in a "time capsule"? Who were the SBS? It's just for fun, but read the story here, "A Canned Time Capsule," then give us your best guesses as to what's going on here.
I strolled across campus this afternoon, headed back from the Student Union after buying my daughter two OSU T-shirts -- an Easter gift. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a flame leap into the air. A bit startled, I turned toward the light. Sure enough, firefighters were dousing a blaze with water.
